The Online File Backup System
The online file backup system consists of two components:
FileBackup Agent -The FileBackup Agent is a small, lightweight application that runs on your computer. It automatically runs silent online file backups like clockwork. The Agent is also the interface you use to schedule backups, see logs, and view and easily retrieve your online file backups.
Data Center – The data center is collection of large, secure data storage servers and facilities. The data center stores encrypted, redundant backups of your data 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Online File Backup Features
* A file selection wizard will automatically find files to back up
* Manual file selection and advanced file selection rules are available for advanced users
* Online file backups are incremental
* Scheduled online file backups are performed automatically
* The online file backup schedule is customizable
* You may perform manual online file backups as often as you wish
* Files are encrypted before leaving your computer and remain encrypted until they are restored to your computer
* Multiple versions of each file are retained in the online file backup for at least 30 days
* Files deleted from your computer are retained for at least 30 days
* Files you de-select from your backup set are retained for at least 30 days
* Software updates are installed automatically as part of the backup process

Retrieval Features
* Retrieve your online file backups 24/7/365
* Retrieval of online file backups is available anywhere that the computer has access to the Internet
* Easily recover deleted files from your online file backups
* Restore an earlier version of a file from your online file backups
* The full online file backup can be restored to the same computer or to a replacement computer
* Your files cannot be seen or retrieved by any other FileBackup user
* Retrieval can only be performed with your unique encryption key
